Bethany is a 5th year graduate student in the Boswell lab and will complete her internship at the VA Western New York in Buffalo, NY. After graduating from the University of Vermont, she worked as the research and administrative assistant to Dr. David Barlow at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD). Her research interests include internalized behavior, anxiety disorders, and transdiagnostic mechanisms of change. She hopes to further research on stigma reduction and treatment dissemination through technology. Outside of the lab, Bethany enjoys knitting for her Etsy shop, soap making, and baking up a storm.

Syed is a 4th year graduate student in the Boswell lab. After obtaining his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, he worked as a research coordinator in the F.A.S.T. Lab at the National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD), Dissemination and Training Division. His research interests include treatment outcomes, measurement-based care, and transdiagnostic processes. In his free time, Syed enjoys hiking, swimming, and keeping up with his favorite TV shows

Ashleigh is a 3rd year graduate student in the Boswell Lab. After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology, she worked as a clinical research coordinator in the Heifets Lab at Stanford University. Her research interests include depressive disorders, clinician cultural competence, and mental healthcare disparities. When she’s not in the lab, Ashleigh loves to sing in choir, read mystery novels, and travel all around the United States!

Sondra is a 2nd year graduate student in the Boswell Lab. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Cognitive Science, she worked as a research coordinator and sleep therapist within Dr. Allison Harvey's lab, the Golden Bear Sleep and Mood Research Clinic, at UC Berkeley. Sondra’s research interests include transdiagnostic approaches to treatment, behavior change mechanisms, and identifying barriers to mental health care access. In her free time, Sondra loves to cook, watch horror films, and go on long walks with her dog, Amelie.

Salina Sahawneh
Salina is a 2nd year undergraduate student who is extremely interested in Psychology research, despite being a Biology major. Her interest in research lies in bridging the gap between knowledge and practice - ensuring that research findings are effectively integrated into routine medical training and clinical practice When she's not in the lab, Salina loves to bake, paint, and watch true crime documentaries!
